training locations are easy to reach by bus and tube, and there is FREE PARKING
for our customers at all of our forklift training centres.
Our extensive
experience and accreditation gives our customers the

legal requirements for forklift truck training. Forklift Training UK are a UK
based company with an experienced team of fully accredited trainers, who are
qualified and registered to deliver Forklift courses on a wide range of lift
trucks from a small counter balance lift truck, right
through to larger pieces of plant such as loading shovel and 360 courses.

throughout the UK.
Counterbalance Training
This is widely
used in various environments including warehouses and storage depots with a
reach of up to 20 feet and has a counterweight to balance the load on the fork
arms. The fork arms and load project out from the front of the machine. Loads
can be raised or lowered vertically and the mast may
be tilted forwards or backwards up to 15° (but in practice more usually about
5°). A wide range of attachments are also available.
Telescopic Handler
They are used
mainly in agriculture and the construction industry and although still a
forklift they can also have a variety of different attachments including
bucket, pallet forks, muck grab, or lift table. This is fitted with a boom that
is pivoted at the rear of the machine which is raised and lowered by hydraulic
rams. In addition, the boom can be extended or retracted (telescoped) to give
extra reach or height. These machines may be two or four-wheel drive, and have
two-wheel, four-wheel or crab steering.
Reach Truck Training
These trucks are
used predominantly in warehouses and where space is restricted. They are called
reach trucks because the mast is moved forwards or reached out to pick up the
load. For travelling, the load is reached back and carried within the wheelbase
which allows greater manoeuvrability. A height of 40
feet can be reached from this type of forklift. Forklift Training UK makes sure
that you pass before you leave our training centre.
Moffett Training
Drivers with a
lorry licence can expand their skills and job
prospects with a Truck Mounted Forklift Certificate, known as a Moffett Mounty.
The Transportable Lift Truck is attached 'Piggy Back'
style to the rear of the truc, which you then hitch
or un-hitch (mount/dismount) from the host vehicle and use the machine to load
and unload cargo. If you already hold a forklift certificate, a conversion
course is 2 days and if you already have moffett
experience as well this could be reduced to 1 day

Pass in our London training centres, We make sure we re-test you as many times as we require to
make sure you leave our training centre with a
forklift licence. If extra days are required we will inform you on your first day of the training
course and this will not cost you a penny extra.
